POSITION PAPER: THE UW OCEAN RESTORATION TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE
ROLE: PRIMARY AUTHOR, INTERVIEWER, EDITOR
In the initial phase of Aquavetic Labs, it was envisioned as a nonprofit. This position paper was effectively a leave-behind after our presentation to the UW College of Engineering, which was well-received, on the whole.
As lead author, this was the paper that gave me the opportunity to realize not everybody knows how to walk the fine line between academic writing and commercial content. But I do. I had a blast formulating the content strategy with AVL’s founders.
In addition to serving as the primary author, I edited other contributors, gave the whole thing a unified voice, then solicited and integrated feedback from experts in the field.
